New works added to galleries
The images below are two examples of 16 new paintings that have been added to this site.
On the left is Family Treasures, which you can see in the Still Life gallery, and on the right is Summer Read, which is in the Seascapes gallery. You'll see larger versions of these outstanding works in the online gallery and, if you'd like your own, find them in the online store.
Susan's work wins new awards
Susan's work has won more awards: the piece Music Matters won the Timberlake award at the '07 North Carolina Watercolor Show and one of Susan's music theme paintings, Makin' Music , won the Mayor's Award at the Cary Fine Arts Show '06.
New acrylics accepted
After studying with Louise Cadillac and John Saliminen at the Springmaid workshops, Susan has been experimenting with acrylic abstraction. Aftermath was accepted in the Raleigh Fine Arts Show recently. Another abstract, Music de la Copula, was accepted in the Goldsboro show.
And breaking news: Susan has been selected to put on a one-person show at Upfront Gallery (Artspace) in April '08. Her show will feature new acrylic abstracts.
New Giclée prints available
Susan has been working to bring you these new Giclée prints of her exceptional work.
Aspen Tree (left), Razz a ma tazz (center), which is one of Susan's musical series, the Historic Charleston Home On The Battery , which available in 6 3/4" X 10" and 22" X 15", and Pawley's Chapel, which available in 6 1/4" X 8 1/2" and 11" X 15".
